Feeling a bit meloncholy these last few days. Hubby and I celebrated out 14th anniversary on the 5th of August. Above are pics taken at the Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock CA on August 5th, 1994.
Jerry and I had known each other for years, and had grown into being best friends. Leaning on each other for support, we built a bond, and fought back the deeper feelings. It wasn't til after the fair we confessed our true feelings, and we've been together ever since. We did finally marry 13 Dec 2002, though we count August as the real one. And some day (God willing) I'll have my wedding pics in my hand. Used an old (have to develop) camera...don't even know which roll it is anymore :-(
The framed pictures were taken in April 1995 (Easter) with our nicknames printed on the frames. That same month (April 18th) Jerry and I traveled with friends up to the Sierra Nevadas, up on a snowy mountainside under a perfect God made arch of trees, we exchanged our vows for the first time. God, Jerry and Me were all that were present. Fourteen years have passed, but one things remains stronger than in the beginning... Our love for one another.
I added charms for all our our children. Brett, Michael, Samual, Jerry Jr, and Heather, were a big part of our relationship from the beginning. Joshua and Matthew are our gifts of love.
