Aged Endearment kit by Creative Victorian Designs
I'm working with PhotoShopElements (Thanks Netta!!!)...Whoo hoo!!! A bit frustrating, but I did it. It was SO tempting to go into my old standby and play with all the tools I know how too...but I really want to get good at PSE. And maybe even design at some point. ;) It drove me nutz to make such a plain and simple layout...after 3 attempts, I'm happy with my first creation. Sunday School is getting ready to start back up, so will have to find some balance between scrappin and teachin.
This pic is from 1938. Which made my grandmother 11. Pictured with younger sisters Johnnie and Wilma. Was getting stuffs together for our camping trip, and ran in to a box of pics. Also found the bix box of oldies, so will try to get some scanned soon. I love doing heritage layouts.
I remember when we had one of these clocks hanging on our wall. Until my mom and step-dad got married. The maid of honor and best man came and redecorated our house; pouring 5 lbs of rice in their bed, t.p.'d the entire house, put pots n pans in the frig, and turned the clock upside down, among other things (my room was safe though..whew). The clock kept time after that, but her tail and eyes remained still :(
