This is my maternal GrandParents Harold and Pauline(aka Dixie) and my Auntie Judith. I never got to meet my GrandFather... back in the day "X" meant "might as well be dead." Auntie Judith died at 18 months of age of Diptheria, while my GrandMother was on her back in the hospital with Polio and pregnant with my mother. GrandMother passed away in 1989, and I'm sure she and Judy watch us from their heavenly perches.
I remember when we had one of these clocks hanging on our wall. Until my mom and step-dad got married. The maid of honor and best man came and redecorated our house; pouring 5 lbs of rice in their bed, t.p.'d the entire house, put pots n pans in the frig, and turned the clock upside down, among other things (my room was safe though..whew). The clock kept time after that, but her tail and eyes remained still :(
