Picture taken in 1980. My Dad newly wed to his fourth wife (and last), with their newborn baby daughter. I didn't know my dad growing up. In fact, I didn't know him when this picture was taken. When I did find him, he was everything I dreamt of n more. I wish I could say that we have the perfect family now...but, oh well, not meant to be. I love my dad...from a distance to keep peace.
My baby sis... we love each other. She is 15 years my junior. The "gifted" child of the family, she has got to have an outlet to create things or she goes nuts. The woman can whip out a quilt from scratch in a day. Many people enjoy her creations over the internet, all over the world. And she just happens to be my FAVORITE digiscrap creator...but I'm not telling you who... you'll just have to guess ;))
I remember when we had one of these clocks hanging on our wall. Until my mom and step-dad got married. The maid of honor and best man came and redecorated our house; pouring 5 lbs of rice in their bed, t.p.'d the entire house, put pots n pans in the frig, and turned the clock upside down, among other things (my room was safe though..whew). The clock kept time after that, but her tail and eyes remained still :(
