This is my and my first pet of knowledge "Tinkerbell." I think I was around 2 in the picture. She was a great watch dog. From what I was told, she would babysit for me in my crib...and not move until given the okay by my mom. I remember when I was 3 or 4 and would be playing with friends out in the front yard. Their parents would call them to come home, and Tinker would pace in front of the children not allowing them to cross without an adult. So more often than not, the parent would have to cross to retrieve their child. She was an amazing, and forever beloved pet.
I remember when we had one of these clocks hanging on our wall. Until my mom and step-dad got married. The maid of honor and best man came and redecorated our house; pouring 5 lbs of rice in their bed, t.p.'d the entire house, put pots n pans in the frig, and turned the clock upside down, among other things (my room was safe though..whew). The clock kept time after that, but her tail and eyes remained still :(
